6 chicken breasts
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 8-10 oz. bottle of Wishbone Russian salad dressing
1 c. apricot preserves (apricot-pineapple is good too)
Directions:
Mix soup mix, salad dressing and preserves together well. Place two chicken breasts in greased crockpot and cover with thin layer of sauce. Repeat layers until all chicken is used and pour remaining sauce on top.
Cook on 8 � 10 hours on low or 4 � 6 hours on high. Serve over rice.
For the oven:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in greased casserole dish. Mix the soup mix, dressing and preserves together and pour over chicken. Cover dish and bake for 1 hour in preheated oven.
***If frozen, thaw all ingredients first, squish sauce bag to mix before pouring over chicken.***
